IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern 2021 : The preliminary examination will be conducted for a total of 100 marks. There will be a time limit of 60 minutes. It consists of three sections. English Language (30 questions - 30 marks), Numerical Ability (35 questions - 35 marks), Reasoning Ability (35 questions - 35 marks). 20 minutes will be allotted for each section. Candidates are required to achieve the cut off marks as determined by IBPS in each section. Based on that you will qualify for the main exam.
The main examination is conducted for 200 marks. 160 minutes will be given. There will be questions from four sections. Journal / Finance Awareness (50 questions - 50 marks) 35 minutes, Journal English (40 questions - 40 marks) 35 minutes, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude (50 questions - 60 marks) 50 minutes on Optical (50 Questions) There will be a 45 minute break. Prelims and Main exams have negative marks. A deduction of 0.25 marks will be levied for each wrong answer. The question paper will be in English and Hindi.
