What is Professional knowledge ?

Answer: Questions will be asked from the subject specialization. which you related to IT Officer, HR Officer, Law Officer, Technical Officer, Agriculture Officer,Charted Accountant officer and FiancĂ© Executive.  If You preparing for IT Officer Scale –I that professional Knowledge Questions Comes from  IT Related subjects(Generally ).Professional Knowledge is nothing but those who having some knowledge in their profession.

professional knowledge section plays crucial role in this exam. weight age also 75 marks out of 200. so give extra time to preparing for this section.  50 questions 75 marks for this section.every section need to qualify.

Example question:

      I have also completed my B.Tech with ECE but while filling up the form for technical officer....the form is not accepted when i put ECE as my branch in degree...will u please say what should i do now...????

      You can apply only for IT officer and not for technical officer. IBPS treats E&C and E&T differently. E&Telecomm graduates are allowed to appear for Technical Officer exam whereas E&Comm graduates are not.

      I suggest that you apply for IT Officer Scale I(if you're a fresher) or IT officer Scale II(if you've 1 yr experience in relevant field).

      there is no fixed syllabus for professional knowledge test. every thing on subjects overall related
      example :
      have applied for IT Officers post, then asked Computer Related Questions etc..

    Dear Sir,this is sagar here..Sir my query is that am confused that for which post should I apply as I thought to apply for IT Officer scale 1 but I came to know that in Professional knowledge paper they ll ask about only computer related questions as I belong to Electronics & Telecommunication branch now am thinking to apply for technical officer.
    So,Sir I want to know that if am applying for IT Officer scale 1 will they ask questions related to computer or will they ask electronics related questions or both???
    And if am applying for Technical Officer which type of professional question will they ask Elec or computer related or both????

    While applying online for finance executive (scale II), one has to click YES or NO for " Minimum experience of 3 years in the area of Credit Appraisal of industrial projects in Financial Institutions/Banks" .......if I put no in it...whether I will be called for written exam or interview in future....if w e put YES (as i have 2 years experience in retail loan and 6 months in SME loans), later whether I will be disqualified......quite confusing....what u ppl r doing....plz guide

    Hi,

    I am have completed my engineering in Electronics.
    I would just like to know that the questions for the IT officer Scale I and II will be the same ? Or would the difficulty vary?
    I have applied for IT officer II as I have a year of work-ex.
    Also the questions would be the same for any branch of engineering if it is for IT officer?
    I also donot see a section for General Awareness. WIll it be included in the professional knowledge part?
    For example in law officers there are two sections separated Professional knowledge as well as General Awareness.

    i)-I am b.tech. from Information Technology of 2011 batch and i have a work experience of 1.5 years as a software engineer in a Private Limited firm. So which one I should choose- IT Officer Scales I OR IT Officer Scales II OR Technical Officer Scale I ??
    ii)-What is the pay scale of above 3 posts ??
    iii)-The syllabus of above 3 posts will vary or will be same ??
    iv)-G.A. will included in Professional Knowledge questions or it will be a pure technical questions ??

    Hi Sir,
    While registering through online to IBPS CWE officers 2013, I have made the payment through online. The payment gateway is opened and i have entered my card details.
    After Submitting Zero sized Reply error is encounted, But i don't got the Registration ID and Password. The amount is debited from my account with out successful registration.

    As the time for applying is less, i have filled the new application form and made the payment once again.

    I have waited for the lost amount with error in processing to be credited in to my account. Till now i don't get any message of repayment of that amount. How can i get the lost amount.

    Please help me in getting that amount.
